Any of you that have been long term patrons of ebay would recall there was a three year period between c.2003 to 2006 that i was selling an incredible archive of original Australian tour, gig & record release posters.
After a much longer sabbatical of inactivity than originally planned, the vault has opened up again and there's a plentiful cache to sell of equally incredible posters.

Okay, for those looking at this listing from this archive for the first time...
This poster is one of the many that was part of an extensive collection of a retired Australian music industry person. They are all new, unused and original posters. Many extremely rare ones that would be some of the very few (maybe even only) that have been spared being plastered all over Australia. All posters are at least close to as new, unless specified otherwise, remembering that they have been properly and carefully stored flat and in storage for over 20 years.
These are 100% original from the time. No reproductions, reprints or anything of that nature. You are talking blue chip collectable piece / investment very much like any other art people put money into.
Art for your wall and / or collectable investment....win / win!
Unlike the commercially available "tour posters" of the modern era being sold at gigs & specialty stores or cafe / venue posters being plundered and sold on ebay even before they are used to promote the gigs, these were never made for sale, any after sale or even after thought beyond being plastered around the cities and venues to advertise the shows, tours, records.
These are genuinely rare with the attrition of time and lack of any after thought beyond them doing what they were made to do, promote. These are extremely thin on the ground in any condition, let alone unused.
Unless specified otherwise, some slight fray on edges or nicks. Nothing of great consequence. Call it character or patina in what for the most part are all hand printed pieces. Screen print or offset.
All posters are sent in extremely sturdy, thick cardboard tubes (this is included in the postage amount). If you want the poster sent in plastic plumbing tubing cost to size can happily accommodate but that would involve additional cost for material.
All measurements are in mm's. Please note that 300mm = 11.7 inches. (L = length / W=width)
(c.610mmL x c.460mmW )
Extremely rare CBS promotional poster for record store display. Not many of these type of posters are in circulation these days since the record company person would make the display in the store, then when the next campaign would come along they would dispose (read: place in the nearest bin) of the display and place posters, flats etc for whatever they were peddling next in the very same spots. They were never as accessible as street posters or gig posters for enterprising people to liberate at some point.
Extremely minor distress on this, no tears .
