"Heart of Gold was inspired by a young cancer patient, Scott Kristopher Innes, at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. "Scott's boundless and positive energy reflected on those all around him, and as a result, good things continue to radiate from his spirit," artist Susan Lordi says of Scott, son of her good friends Barb and Bob Innes."

"His courageous spirit and kind smile showed me how one little heart of gold can continue to bring so much love, joy and comfort to others. It is my hope that this figurine expresses the pure and honest affection between a child and those who love and care for him."

Artist Information
Susan Lordi's art reflects our relationships with people and the world around us. Her keen observation of the human form is further inspired by ballet, modern dance, nature, and her personal experiences with family and friends. These influences are revealed in her Willow Tree® sculptures, from which emotion is communicated through gestures only.

Besides her work in sculpture, Susan has always loved making art with cloth. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Textile Design, and her fiber art has been exhibited internationally. A monograph of her art textiles has been published in the Portfolio Collection by Telos Art Publishing and she is featured in the book Art Textiles of the World: USA. Susan maintains a studio in Kansas City, Missouri.

• We may ship each product separately from different warehouses as we utilize a number of warehouses across the Continental United States. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
• We reserve the right to change the shipping method selected to another comparable method.

Return Policy

At Clevershoppers, customers are the NUMBER ONE priority, and we make every effort to ensure your shopping experience is a great one. We will gladly exchange a defective item returned no later than 14 days from delivery date. We'll pay for the shipping cost to return the item (if defective). On a non-defective item, a 20% restocking fee will be assessed and the customer will be responsible for the return shipping charges. All returns must be pre-authorized and an RMA # must be issued by Clevershoppers for the return.

• Any shipment that is rejected/refused and received in saleable condition, will be issued a refund of the merchandise cost less 30% restocking fee.
• Imprinted items may NOT be returned for replacement or refund, unless the imprint or item is defective.
• Computer software, videos, CDs, DVDs or other media may only be returned for refunds if UNOPENED. A defective item may be returned for replacement of the same item.
