I haven't used this much, but I did check it out when I got it. It's in a nice metal case with a clear display. The instructions seemed a bit complicated but, in fact, it's easy enough to use. I used it to check the set up of my saw table - which was spot on, well done Carbatec. I also, of course, played around with it and it seems solid and robust. It's now in the drawer with my other measuring tools and I hope it lasts forever. One minor criticism: the screws that hold the back on are tiny and fiddly. They provide a tiny screwdriver to go with them, but I hope I never use it again! I'll stick with a jeweller's screwdriver for the job.

Yes it is a good product, but, it is sensitive in movement, mine only operates best one way. When compared to all the others out there on the market with some pricing themselves up towards a $100, this is good. I got mine to use on wood working machinery, so far has been OK, i am satisfied with it.

Only used it a few times now. Does what it is said it will do, Set up my mitre saw for accurate straight and mitre cuts, very solidly built, good for the workshop, will takes a few knocks, not sure how accurate it will be if dropped etc. Overall very happy, not too expensive, and was delivered very quickly.

I purchased a cheaper protractor for $28 and it didn’t work when delivered, I purchased this more expensive protractor and you can see & feel the quality, it also uses an 8 volt battery which is better as well
