Shipping within the UK

For UK shipping, I use ParcelMonkey or Royal Mail. For most shipments,  ParcelMonkey employ CityLink 24.  I usually despatch on a Thursday.

Shipping overseas

Overseas bidders are welcome, but please note, risk of damage during transit is entirely your own.  My packaging is robust, oversized, intelligently padded, strong and perfectly specified for long distance shipping.  However, I cannot guarantee safe delivery by any courier, with or without insurance.  The longer the journey, the more likely that your item will be mis-handled. As a private seller, I am not required to offer compensation if the item arrives damaged.  If you are not happy with these terms, please consider your position carefully.

Overseas Shipping Rates

I do not ship to all countries.  Please check with me before bidding and  I will give you an accurate shipping quote.  Listed shipping costs are typical for most countries, but yours may differ.

For international shipping, I use DHL.  Shipping prices are calculated by volumetric weight. Worldwide Parcel Services are my preferred broker:



Lost, Damaged or Stolen in the UK

Your item will be insured against loss and damage. In the case of damage, claims must be made within 7 days of receiving the damaged goods and all packaging must be kept for examination. Claims made after this time will be unsuccessful.  I will need your full co-operation in any damage or loss claim and in order to secure this, no refund will be made until the claim has been decided. 

**For lost items carried by Royal Mail First Class, the earliest a claim can be submitted is 15 working days after the date of posting**

Lost, Damaged or Stolen overseas

I will only support lost or stolen item claims.

I will need your full co-operation in any lost or stolen claim and in order to secure this, no refund will be made until the claim has been decided. 

**For lost items carried by Royal Mail Airmail Small Packets, the earliest a claim can be submitted is 20 working days after the date of posting.  This amounts to approximately 28 calendar days if you include weekends.**

Returns Policy

Returns will only be excepted in exceptional circumstances.  This does not include overseas damaged-in-transit claims.  When a return is agreed, the buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.  For items returned from overseas, this includes customs duty and import taxes.  I will not accept parcels that require payment and they will be returned to you by your courier after a set number of days.  I recommend that your commerical invoice states 'Delivered, duty paid' and that you describe the goods as a return for repair or refund.
