Description:

Eucalyptus Globulus is commonly known as Blue Gum and is native from  Australia and  India where it comprises more than 75% of all trees.It is a tall evergreen tree that can grow up to 90 meters high (270 feet). The young trees have oval bluish-green leaves while the mature trees develop long, narrow, yellowish leaves, creamy-white flowers and a smooth, pale grey bark. A traditional aboriginal remedy, eucalyptus is a powerful antiseptic used all over the world for relieving coughs and colds, sore throats and other infections. The leaves cool the body and relive fever. Inhaling the vapors of the essential oils heated in water, clears sinus and bronchial congestions as it influences the breathing process and increases the oxygen supply to the body's cells. This essential oil contains high levels of the powerful constituents eucalyptol and alpha-pinene, eucalyptol is one of the main constituents of the many existing commercial formulas of chest rubs for colds. The essential oil has also strong anti-biotic, anti-viral and anti-fungal action. Eucalyptus is a common ingredient in many over-the-counter cold remedies.

Blends well with:

Cedarwood, Frankincense, Grapefruit, Peppermint, Rosemary and Tea tree.

Suggested Uses:

Vaporizer: Add 10-15 drops to vaporizer to scent the room.

Skin Care: Add 1-2 % (20-40 drops per 100ml) to cream, lotion or body butter for general body application.

Massage: Add 1-2 % (20-40 drops per 100ml) to nakedpress massage oil for general body application.

Bath: Add 5-10 drops to a fully drawn bath

Quality Assurance

Why Quality is so Important?
It is imperative to use only the best essential oils available; synthetics and 
compounded oils do not have the healing properties of the ?real thing?. 
Many oils are labeled as ?fragrant oil?, ?compounded oil?, 
or ?perfume oil?. These descriptions mean that the oil is synthetic 
or blended with either paraffin oil, a carrier oil or some other kind of diluting 
agent. Often alcohol and occasionally a small amount of vegetable oil, which are 
both good solvents for essential oils, are used to adulterate, stretch, or cut 
essential oils. 



All Naked Press essential oils, carrier oils and raw materials are tested with 
the latest and highest grade equipment available and to insure the highest levels 
of quality are upheld. We are happy to offer certificates of analysis ?COA?s? 
for all our oils on request. All our oils are batch tested and come with a batch 
number and best before date on the label. This acts as another form of quality 
control and tracking for batches of oil and is necessary for testing procedures. 
It is not recommended to ever buy essential oils from a company that can?t 
offer such fundamental assurances and controls.
