This is an autobiography story of Leonid Kotliar's family. He and his wife Lena have two boys. Leonid and Lena worked as engineers. They wanted to immigrate from Russian and struggle to realize their dream. Their parents, relatives and friends were against it. They consider this step very dangerous. It was very hard for them to make this decision considering that it was impossible to immigrate from Russia for so long. Window of opportunity opened in 1974 when Brejnev under the USA pressure had signed Helsinki agreement to respect human rights. But when the Plant management together with KGB came up with a plan... a crazy plan to stop them from doing it. Leonid and Lena realized they have no choice buy fight.
