Up for sale today is conversion gear to fit a Ford Windsor EFI 5.0 V8 to a Ford Maverick or Nissan GQ patrol.
This setup was fitted to my Maverick and was all engineered and legit in NSW.
It includes a dellow bellhousing to fit the motor to a TB42 gearbox.
Rear bowl sump and pickup to clear the front diff.
Engine mount plates from the motor to the chassis pedestals. You will need to fabricate the pedestals yourself , but you can take pictures and measurements from my car.
Custom made extractors and Y pipe to fit the 5.0 in the the Maverick/Patrol. These alone cost me $1200 when I had them made.
3" straight through exhaust with high flow Magnaflow cat and Hooker Aerochamber muffler. Sounds very tough.
Basically buy this gear at a price that is MUCH less then it would cost to make it all up , grab a donor motor and bolt it all in. The hard work has been done for you. It cost me in excess of $2000 for the gear when I did the conversion and had the headaches or sorting it out.
I am also selling a 5.0 Windsor to suit so check my other items.
Reason for selling is I have had my V8 Maverick and decided a change and new challenge was in order with the rebuild I am doing so I am fitting a twin cam XR6 Turbo motor.
Pickup available at Werrington Western Sydney or delivery may be able to be arranged for a fee. Please contact me to discus.

A: Hi mate Thanks for your interest. Yep it comes with bellhousing , extractors and 3" exhaust system , the engine mount plates that bolt to the motor. The pedestals are welded to the chassis and are just square tube cut... Continue reading
