Garmin 496 with tons of accessories. Vibrant and bright screen with no dead pixels. Rechargeable battery holds excellent charge. Pretty sure this unit is unused; it still had screen protector on screen and we removed just for pictures. 1 Month of XM radio and free activation is included. The unit is in awesome shape. A airgizmos panel dock is even included. You're going to want this if you have a place in your panel to mount the GPS; or plan to in the future. Many of the accessories have never even been used. The XM antenna is the GXM30a (newer model than the GXM30 which interfered with wet compass). There is also a bonus auxiliary audio cable, which will allow you to play xm music and get audible alerts to your audio panel or car stereo. Two types of chargers are also included (AC, and DC); which is nice because you can always leave the GPS battery topped off when you're at home. Many people never keep their batteries charged; and they die and never recharge.

The GPSMAP lineup from garmin is built solid and will dominate the aviation portable segment for years to come. The unit is easy to navigate through different screen pages, maps, and menus via the logically placed and easy to use buttons. The portable 496 can go from plane to car with ease. You'll be surprised how often you end up using this unit in the car; whether it's a road trip or daily commute. The 496 even has aviation, marine, and automobile display modes which are a breeze to switch between. XM live Doppler radar is amazing, and that is just one piece of the weather. XM weather gives so much more info; winds aloft, icing, etc. XM Radio is also really cool for those longer flights or to just relax.

A few people have asked about a yoke mount. We do have a yoke mount that we can throw in if you'd rather not have the airgizmos mount. Just message us before we ship, and we'll swap them. Also yes, item can be returned within the first week if it had a functional problem that can't be resolved. It is guaranteed to NOT be DOA (dead on arrival). Thanks
