Gilmore Violins are setting the standard for entry to mid level quality violins. Instead of us just selling violins that are really only suitable for beginners we have sourced our own range of violins and cut out the middleman so we can pass the savings onto you.

Gilmore violins come from an old factory in the northern part of China, the timber is sourced from near the Russian border and is cured up to 20 years depending on the model of violin.

No longer do you have to purchase violins that are made from inferior timber and covered in thick coats of lacquer to make them look good. All this does is just stop the timber from letting you hear it’s natural sound.

Our violins are setup and played by our resident violin teach at Pirana Music Academy (who incidently has played with some very good Australian Orchestras’), and all violins come complete with case, bow and rosin
