The Grundig Satellit 2100 was the next successor to the top sound and reception quality throne. Built between the 1978 and 1979 the hip but troublesome slide adjustments were forced to give way agin to the classic dials. Technically the NF part received a pre amp as well as silicium transistors. These small changes improved this radios reception. The 2100 was also the last of the Satellit line that used an analog frequency display. It was available in three editions. 1. Black, -professional look 2. Black with aluminum trim and aluminum side panels. Of note for collectors is the "Final Edition" was offered with a waffle style grill, which also found it's way to the next radio in line: the Grundig Satellit 3000." Year: 1976–1979 Type: Radio - or past WW2 tuner Semiconductors (the count is only for transistors) 27:
