I loved the graphics on this game, so much more lively than the first one. The only problem, and in my opinion, the biggest problem was the controls to get your character to interact with the your surroundings. It was (it is) very hard to get your character to move and fight and complete tasks with this new way of giving your avatar commands. Your character is more powerful and more detailed, which is great. But all this is useless if you can't get your avatar to respond quick enough or you have them move wrong because you pressed the wrong key. It would also help if you could get a quick reference guide with the game like they did with the first Guild Wars.

Seems to be copying World of Warcraft to me...But doesn't do a great job....I am a vanilla player of wow so this vs that NOTHING COMPARED TO IT! As i'd play it for hours and hour...But Guild Wars 2 vs. Current WOW......Guild Wars 2 just beats it mainly cause of free gameplay....As I said nothing much great about it but it's a decent game

It is Free To Play, however the base game removes all restrictions that Free to Pay model gives you. If you want to unlock your account but not spend 40-50$ for Heart of Thorns this is a good deal. Massive game, active players, something you can spend countless hours on with out running in to a lack of content.

Well made, fun game, but I guess no game will ever compare to World of Warcraft... :( Played WoW on and off for several years and have since lost interest in it. So, as always when one game gets old you look for a new one. I ran across a GW2 review on YouTube and thought it looked pretty cool. It definitely has the potential to be awesome for someone but maybe just not me. Great, well made, fun game but it is just another MMORPG. If you've gotten bored with WoW don't turn to this game as it will not satisfy your desire for bigger and better!
