All orders are shipped insured and registered and so must be signed for by the recipient either at their delivery address or at the local post office if no-one is available to sign at the delivery address. We will e-mail you shipping details on the day your purchase is sent. (NB: Any taxes and duties to be charged by the country destination is the responsibility of the purchaser.)

All goods shipped to you are insured against loss and damage whilst they are in transit. Once you are advised by e-mail that your order has been shipped, we guarantee delivery of all items except in cases where the address supplied is incorrect, illegible, incomplete or if the recipient is away or has moved, in which case you will be liable for payment of the purchase price and shipping of the order irrespective of whether the order arrives on time or not at all.

INTERNATIONAL DUTIES

Please note that all orders delivered outside of Australia may be subject to import duties and taxes. Different countries have different regulations for imported products and it is your responsibility to pay your country's local customs clearance, import duties and taxes. Such charges are not included in the delivery fee or purchase price of our products as these vary from country to country. We have no control over those charges and cannot determine what they may be for the 195 countries in the world.

As customs policies vary widely between countries, you should contact your local customs office for further information. When ordering from us you are also considered the importer of the ordered product and you must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. We will not be held responsible for the payment of any customs duties under any circumstances. When ordering from us you agree to pay any import duties which may be imposed by your country's government.

If you refuse to pay any import duties imposed and thereby prevent delivery of your order, you will remain liable for the purchase price of the product and you will be charged the full purchase price of the order and the shipping price together with any shipping amount incurred in the return of the goods to us and any customs duty or penalty imposed by your government.

We offer jewellery at very low prices by providing a service direct from the factory to you. We provide the rings directly from factory so you can have it made to your exact ring size. We do this to avoid resizing the ring as some gemstones can have the setting damaged by resizing work. By supplying direct from factory we also offer a 1 year warranty on all our stock. This allows us to provide you with quality jewellery at a cost many times less than a retail jewellery store. Since all "Buy It Now" items are made to order, we require approx 15~20 business days from the time we receive the payment to the day we ship. Once your item(s) are ready to leave our facility a shipping confirmation will be sent to you by email.

Return Policy

Our returns policy is a voluntary policy in addition to your statutory rights. We've implemented this policy because we want you to be 100% satisfied with your SOPHIE'S FINE JEWELLERY shopping experience. As such we trust that all returns are made in good faith. If, however we believe at our sole discretion have reason to believe that this policy is being abused or that a return is otherwise not being made in good faith for whatever reason, we reserve the right to refuse to accept any returns under this policy and to charge a 10% restocking fee. Any decision we make in this regard is final.

Items must be post-marked within 30 days after its dispatch date and in original condition, unaltered and with all documentation and packaging intact.

Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment. Additionally, any applicable shipping costs are also non-refundable unless the item arrived damaged, or an incorrect item was received due to our error. The buyer is responsible for all the return costs. Refund will be issued within 7 working days of receipt.

Incorrect information provided by you the customer is solely the liability of the customer, and does not facilitate or qualify a refund for shipping costs.

DAMAGE

We guarantee that all our products will be delivered to you in new condition without damage or fault in craftsmanship. Should a product be damaged or faulty in its craftsmanship at the time of delivery to you (the customer), you may return the product to us (within 7 days of the delivery date) to have the product replaced, repaired or a full refund given. In the event that your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately.

Please do not accept packages that show extensive damage or tampering. If an item was damaged during shipping, all insurance claims will be handled through the carrier. All returned merchandise is carefully inspected for damage including but not limited to: scratches, dents, dirt, signs of wear, etc. An item is considered to be in new /unused condition if there are no signs of wear, scratches, or any of the above listed attributes. Additionally, all applicable security tags and labels are present. We reserve the right to reject an item deemed unfit for re-stocking. We cannot accept items that show any indication of use.

WARRANTY
 

SOPHIE'S FINE JEWELLERY line has a manufacturer's warranty from the date of shipment.  The jewellery is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal wear within 12 months of shipment date.  This warranty is void if the jewellery has been damaged by accident, negligence, wearing while washing, showering or bathing or any unauthorized service or other factors not due to defects in material workmanship.  Should warranty service be required, please send a copy of the sales receipt along with a description of the defect.

 
Our limited lifetime repair or replacement warranty provides coverage for defects in manufacturing only (base upon OUR inspection and sole determination) and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft and deterioration resulting from accident, negligence, or tempering.

Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than SOPHIE'S will void this warranty.
