I was looking for a new motherboard that was released not too long ago, that is durable, and that still supports legacy devices including a 5.25" floppy disk drive, at least one IDE hard disk drive, a PS/2 mouse, a PS/2 keyboard, and at least one PCI card. This Gigabyte motherboard (GA-G41M-Combo rev. 2.0) provides not only all the legacy features I was looking for, but also the common modern features (USB, SATA, PCIe, and so on). It is an "Ultra Durable" motherboard (only the rev. 2.0), which from my understanding, uses components that are more lasting. In addition, it has integrated graphics (so I do not have to worry about looking for a discrete graphics card, at least for the time being), permits the use of either DDR2 or DDR3 (faster) memory modules (up to 8 GB), supports either a 5.25" or a 3.5" floppy disk drive (only one floppy disk drive can be supported at any one time), and can be used with Windows 7. For anyone who wishes to build a legacy computer with modern features, I think this motherboard is a good one to use.Read full review

I chose this for my off-line desktop PC work station using Windows XP Professional 32-bit O/S to use my 32-bit programs. EXCELLENT quality epoxy circuit board with all solid caps(Rev. 2.0). I used an ASUS GT520-1GD3CSM video card(no fan = passively-cooled) for full HD video and Core2 Extreme X6800 dual-core at stock speed and fantastic performance! This is a superb motherboard for Intel socket 775 CPUs! Easily a 5-star value!!!!!

I had to replace the exact motherboard at an old pc. It did the job perfectly fine. A slight wear could be found but it was in really good shape considering it is refurbished. On the negative side was the time it took to arrive. Over 2 months via Israel post.
