Product Type: Lights and Globes

Have you got HID but your blue dash light doesn't work and your spotties wont come one ???  This is the only solution.

This is a load module that you plug into the spare headlight socket (your H4 HID kit only uses one socket - plug this into the other). And you only need the 1 unit.

Here's what's going on....

Your HID kit has a loom that takes power from the battery via a relay which turns the lights on and changes from high to low beams. All your original wires are doing is feeding that relay in the HID loom which is stuff all load. Such little load in fact the car doesn't recognise the lights are on. And so the blue dash light is not coming on and the relay that powers your spotties is not being triggered either.

Try fitting an old H4 globe or headlight to that spare socket and see that the problem goes away - but now you have a light on in the engine bay. So here's the fix.

This is the only unit that solves the problem in every car. I make it myself so it looks a bit home made but it works 100% of the time. It loads up 40w and 22 Ohm  resistance. It doesn't get hot and it is comes pre-wired and ready with a plug. So you just plug it in and the problem's all gone.

We once sold a Load Module that looked the goods. But of the cars that needed it - it only worked on half of them so we stopped selling it. Here's a pic of what it looks like - just dont get tricked into buying these from others - I too have a box full of them and I too could sell them cheap only to satisfy a few of you and frustrate the rest.

This problem only seems to happen on Toyotas with H4 hi/lo globes. But not all. In fact just to be totally mysterious take 2 identical cars and 2 identical HID kits - 1 car will need it and 1 car wont. Go figure ! To really screw with your head, of the cars that needed a load module the Chinese module worked on some but not others. There was no pattern or model or engine related trend. Drove us all crazy. Lots of refunds and return postage so we stopped selling the Chinese ones. But we have never had any problems with these new units we make ourselves.

I stock these load modules and they are ready to send to you straight away. They get posted same or next day via Aus Post with tracking. If you want express there is an option for express post (yellow bag) when you go through check out.
