. 3-in-1 Technology Hotpoint’s new portable room air conditioner combines the function of a portable air conditioner, dehumidifier and fan, saving you space and energy.

3. Multi-Color VFD Display Unlike a LCD display, a VFD display is an active device providing a brilliant, eye catching glow in a wide spectrum of colors. Generating its own light, a VFD display is brighter than an LCD, offers more contrast, and is easier to read in direct sunlight.

4. No water Bucket to Empty Using evaporative technology, the collected moisture is recycled and eliminated through the exhaust duct. For extremely humid conditions, there is an emergency holding tank with a drainage port on the back to prevent potential water damage to carpet or floors. 

5. 3 Speed Fan with Two Choices of Oscillation. Recessed oscillations louvers prevent damage to the unit. The added use of a fan enhances cooling and fanning performance, maximizes energy efficiency, and improves air circulation.

6. Fully Adjustable Thermostat and 24 Hour Timer The adjustable thermostat, with a range of 16-31℃, lets you select your own personal comfort level/ 1-24 hour timer can be programmed to automatically start or stop the unit.

7. Easy to install and move. Simple steps required to install single hose venting kit that prevents hot air recirculation back into the cooling room.

The MAC181 features an exclusive system that when required will expell the excess water through an external water hose connected to the back of the A/C. In extrememly high humidity a portable A/C can dehumidify more water from the atmosphere than it can self evaporate. With Hotpoint's new exclusive excess water expell system, continuous operation will never be interupted.
