I purchased my original Incredible S about 18mths ago to replace my partners old phone and launch her into the 21st century with an "entry level" cheap low end pre-paid smart phone. At the time I was using an iPhone 3GS. I was so impressed with the HTC I seriously considered off loading the iPhone to my partner and using the HTC myself. It out performed the iPhone and was consistently picking up phone service where the iPhone had zip (same provider) The phone is very easy to use and get used to. The HTC Sense Android overlay is good and the phone camera is fantastic. I subsequently bought a Galaxy S3 for myself (partly to get one up on my partner, and Im not so sure that strategy worked). The HTC camera is better the Galaxy S3 as is the camera flash. I cant fault the phone on any level, and would be happy with it myself.Read full review
This is my first smartphone. I know it's one the lower end HTCs, but it does everything that I need it to do, plus extra things I couldn't do with my old phone. Basic things like texting and calling and checking Facebook and Instagram is really all I need. I've downloaded some apps and even some free books. It's really easy to transfer music from my computer to the phone and vice versa from my phone eg. of pictures I've taken, to my computer or any music I've loaded from friend's computers. I'm a bit of a ludite when it comes to technology, so it was surprising how easy it was for me to work out. Any questions I had, I could find on the net. The manual is at the HTC website. I've had it for 4 months or so and there are still some things I'm not good at, but that's to do with my abilities and not the phone. Mostly getting used to the touch screen. The battery life can be a little short, especially if I use it to surf the net - which can also take some time working if the wi-fi is slow or if I check Facebook too often. I do have to recharge it every night. The volume of the ringer could be a tad louder too. For me the phone is perfect, not too many whizz bang features to confuse me and easy to use. I also like that it's very hardy. I haven't as yet dropped it, but I feel that it could withstand a knocking about. I also like that it's not an Iphone, which I feel has too many strings attached to their use. I hope that the above is helpful. Enjoy and Peace.Read full review
Affordable smartphone with all the features that come standard with Android phones, decent camera and media player, really easy to use and customise, SD card option allows for addition of personal music and photos which I love, battery life is not bad but I'd say above average. Not the most 'fashionable' phone compared with the Samsung Galaxy or iPhone but it does everything I need it to and I love it!
This is a great phone! After switching from a Sony Ericsson X10 i have found that there is almost NO comparison. Great screen, Great vibrant colours,VERY user friendly,no freezing, reacts fast.I love this phone. The camera is also far better than the SE X10 even though it was also 8mp with HD video. Sound is also better!! Battery life is way better too. Highly recommended AAA+++
I bought this phone for my 12 years old daughter and she is very fund of it. Its camera is good and more than sufficient for her needs. The battery life is very good. The price is cheap and gives high value for the money. The phone itself is built very well like any other HTC.
