Happy Feet (2006) A decent kids game that offers enough to challenge Older Players. It's nothing spectacular but it does the job! Description: Based on the comedy movie directed by George Miller, Happy Feet is a comedy adventure set in the land of the Emperor Penguins in the heart of Antarctica. These penguins sing, and each needs their own special song to attract a soul mate. Our hero Mumble is the worst singer in the world... but he can tap-dance something fierce! Based on the general storyline of the film, the player will be able to experience life from the point of view of Mumble in music, dance and interaction with the friends and enemies of the penguin's world. I was suprised with how much I enjoyed playing Happy Feet. I thought the game was only directed towards children, but it has offered enough to challenge me in certain areas. Plus, Penguins are really cute!!! Pros: - Many different game types (Swimming, Dancing, Sledding) - Many different game objectives (Collection, %, Race Against the Clock, Race Against Friends, Escape) - Family Mode offers great Multiplayer action - Easy enough for young players, but can offer enough of a challenge for older players - Ability to choose easy, medium, and hard difficulty modes during story mode - Story mode is pretty decent - Tons of unlockables - Celebrity Voices - Penguins are cute Cons: - Animation in Non-gameplay videos is borderline poor - Repetetive dialogue during gameplay - Pretty easy to beat Final Verdict: 3/5 Rent or Buy: A rental if you don't have children, but if you have children or grandchildren under the age of 10 this game will keep them occupied for months. My 4 year old daughter loved playing this game. My 9 year old son helped teach her how to play. Very user friendly & cute. She loved the penguins at Sea World & this was the perfect gift. It was better than any souvenir we could have gotten at S.W.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
my nephew loved the movie, he is five so this game was very age appropriate.

I persaonally have not played this game, but my 6 year old son loves it! This is the first game, and he has many, that he has been able to play without frustration and he plays it enthusiastically. It keeps him entertained for extended periods, which is great considering that he has ADD. The graphic are great, as well as the audio. I would recommend this game for any young gamer.
Happy Feet is cute, but a little boring. I like cute games and love to purchase games that are not violent with cute little characters. This game is a lot like dancing games without the floor mat using keys. I probably would not buy it again.
