This high-performance Car PC kit features a 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i3-2100 dual-core CPU (with Intel® HD Graphics) with 2GB of DDR3 system memory. This Car PC kit is designed for the power user who wants the quickest load times possible and maximum processing power at their fingertips. This system can also be used for applications, other than Car PC use, such as fulfilling the need for a battery-operated system or where AC or regulated DC power sources are unavailable. | M3-ATX 125W Automotive Power Supply | | The M3-ATX 125W DC-DC Automotive Power Supply features wide DC-input range operation. Since the power inside of an automobile is "dirty" and suffers from voltage fluctuation, the M3-ATX works on its own to keep power clean and stable for the Car PC system. The M3 -ATX also features its own built-in power on and shutdown controller with different timing schemes to taylor to your needs. In a practical sense, you won't need to manually switch on the PC everytime you start your car and, should you turn your car engine off (i.e. ignition current drops off), you'll still have time to properly shutdown your computer without worrying about hard drive corruption. | |
