This beautiful NEW radiator cover (above) is built by MAPAM for the Kawasaki MEANSTREAK VN1500 and VN1600 for all model years.
This will not fit other Kawasaki applications... only the Mean Streak. Please see our store listings for those covers. You can also see photos of other radiator covers below (not offered in this listing).
Application: These covers attach OVER your existing cover to add both beauty and protection for your radiator.
Mapam European styling is not only beautiful, but also engineered for durability and comfort.
CHROME OVER STAINLESS QUALITY: Mapam takes pride in quality. All surfaces are show finished. Following an acid cleaning, parts are copper plated. This produces a superior bond by adhering the softer nickel and harder chrome to the steel base. Copper also fills any micro-imperfections of the steel, which extends service life as well as enhancing looks.
NOTE: Normally, stainless is not magnetic. However, if you test the steel, magnetism will be observed as the electroplating process sets charge to the base metal. This is normal for chromed stainless.

All items are typically IN STOCK. While parts usually ship same day (if ordered prior to noon Pacific time), they can take 48 hrs (or after the weekend). Installation: Mapam has never published instructions. However, installation is relatively easy. If in doubt, please consult your local shop.
Shipment: All shipments over $250 total cost require signature confirmation for product protection. All international shipments require signature release. All shipments (USA-APO-FPO-International) require a phone number. We can't ship without one.
Packaging: Due to size conformity constraints, product contents are transferred from their original box to shipment boxes. All product contents are original in every other respect, checked for completeness, and protected for transit. We have shipped thousands of boxes this way successfully. Your parts are in fact new.
USA: Ships USPS to service APO/FPO addresses (UPS doesn't) Physical or PO Box's ok. Phone number required.
EU (European Union) Shipments originating from USA into EU - no VAT pre-collected. You will be responsible for VAT from port of entry. Proper ID is ALWAYS required in order to be noted for shipping documents (EU requirements). Typical ship method: USPS Global Priority or USPS International Express. PHYSICAL address and phone number required. (NO PO BOX) WARNING: Shipments are subject to delay by your country's customs.
Canada/Australia/NZ: No PST/GST is collected. You will be responsible for any tax due. Likewise to Australia or any country requiring tax. Usually ships USPS Global Priority. Physical or PO Box address acceptable, but phone number required. WARNING: Shipments are subject to delay by your country's customs.
Ship info by USPS is available thru your Ebay and PayPal records. However, you will only see a ship identification number. It will not always give an instant ETA or tell you the package location. Please do not worry. This is normal. USPS typically reports status once a package arrives at the destination zip post office. It is not scanned at the departure office. We request your patience, as most shipments are under way. We'll contact you if there are any excess ship delays from us... another reason why we request phone numbers.
Ship time: Shipments originate from West Coast USA. Time of transit for can run a day or two longer than USPS claims (example: Priority Express can run 3-5 days instead of 2-3 days as USPS claims). We do not delay shipping and realize time is of the essence. Overnight service is generally on time, but USPS can have minor glitches. If you experience a delay, it is easy to assume your product hasn't shipped on time. We'll work to meet your needs, but ask you order early enough before a ride, show, or birthday party to allow an extra day for safe margin to insure delivery. We want to see you happy.
Communication: In the past, we've experienced frustration for people who have email filters turned on. AOL and Earthlink customers also typically have problems with their provider's filter. This can prevent emails from reaching you. Also, be sure to check your JUNK MAIL in case our email gets routed there.
We request PHONE numbers as a back up in case the communication stream fails. If you don't know we are trying to reach you, it is easy to assume we don't care. Help to make this a great experience by providing a backup email address and/or phone number to insure the job gets done.
