A used MR turbo kit for a 00-05 Kawasaki ZX12R, almost everything required to make 240+ reliable horsepower from your
stock motor ZX12R. Or up to 300hp with additional engine work.
Perfect for the home builder that doesn't mind getting his hands dirty.
Rajay 370 F 70 turbo on a set of ceramic coated headers still in good condition. There's a few external nicks & scratches but it all still works perfectly, there is no shaft play in the turbo at all & no damage to the compressor or turbine wheels. The oil drain fitting is a steel fitting that has some Liquid metal on it, obviously had a leak at some stage that someone has repaired. Oil feed line & bung to screw into the side of the motor, I've replaced a worn hose on this so it's good to go. Foam airfilter which I've cleaned & it looks ok to use.
Turbo up pipe which is also ceramic coated & in very good condition, the silicone hoses on the ends are a bit tatty so I'm including new ones.
TSI Piggyback computer, I've removed this from the bike leaving some of the bikes original wiring loom attached so you can see how to wire it into your bike. This isn't part of the MR turbo kit & has been added for more tuneability, this has a tune in it, the bike was dyno tested prior to removing the kit & it made 230 RWHP on 9psi with 11.5:1 fueling all the way through, upon inspection the frame ( which is used as the plenum on this model) was found to have not been sealed up properly so there's no doubt more power would have been achieved if this was done correctly. Vacuum line for the piggyback supplied.
Original Air filter block off cover & air ram turbo feed & blockoff for the other side (not pictured)
Malpassi fuel regulator (1.6:1 rising rate, I think) & hoses which are a bit hard & crusty but enough new hose is also included. I've left the original ones there so you can see how to route them. there is a fuel filter included but I don't know the history of if so you may want to replace it.
Oil return hoses & fittings which still look in pretty good condition.
Ok so what's not included :
Fuel pump, this bike was running a stock fuel pump that had been modified, personally I would use something like a walbro GSS342 pump these can be found on ebay for under $120
Oil scavenge pump, something like an inline VDO oil scavenge pump can be found at somewhere like VPW for around $300, or I think Mr turbo do one for around $100.
Ok so what mods need to be done to fit this kit to your bike.( this is not a be all & end all how to guide, it's to give you a general idea of what you need to do)
A hole needs to be tapped into the clutch cover for the oil return from the turbo, a fuel return hose needs to be fitted to the tank somewhere ( A pipe welded through the fuel pump plate is a good spot), a new fuel pump needs to be fitted to the tank, the piggyback computer needs to be wired in, the airbox part of the frame needs several holes plugged or welded up & the cover plates & trumpets need to be sealed in place. Vacuum lines on the throttle bodies need to be re-routed & zip tied so they don't leak. Oil scavenge pump will need to be wired in, & the clutch may need some upgraded springs. Oh & you'll probably need a good supply of rear tyres....
I'm happy to supply more photos to the winning bidder of how the kit was previously fitted & help with any info I can about fitting the kit.
Please make sure you have read & understand what is written above before bidding. I accept no responsibility for people that can't read & think this is a brand new complete bolt on & away you go kit with instructions. It's not.
Thanks for looking & happy bidding.
