York Rite /  Shriners

10k Yellow Gold, Genuine Onyx and Garnet


This vintage fob features a Maltese cross with a hinged knight's bust at the top and two yellow gold swords diagonally passing through it's center.  The front side of the Maltese cross is accented by genuine onyx arms.  A black enameled circle is featured in the center of the cross and reads In Hoc Signo Vinces in yellow gold text.  A red enameled cross is set atop the center of the cross and is accented by a yellow gold crown.  The back of the fob is accented by a Shriner's scimitar sword, crescent moon and pharaoh's face.  The horns of the crescent moon are accented in white enamel, while the pharaoh's face is made of carved onyx.  A yellow gold five pointed star is set below the crescent and is accented by a genuine garnet gemstone in it's center.  The Shriner's emblem can be lifted.  The underside of the emblem is engraved Geo. D. Smith; McKeesport; PA 12-25-33.  When the crescent moon is lifted, it reveals a Royal Arch Keystone in the center of a cross.  The white enameled keystone is accented by the letters KSHTWSST in yellow gold against a black enameled ring.  The cross is detailed with red and black enameled arms.  This may be worn as a fob on your watch chain, as a pendant on a necklace, charm on a bracelet, or displayed in a fine collection.

This fob measures 1 3/8" (35.3mm) tall (including the stationary bale), 3/4" (18.7mm) wide and weighs 7.1 grams.
