im a bit of a fan of the Lego video game style and Lego Batman 2 brought there flair to a whole new level. first of all, the introduction of voices to the series was great, all coming from the animated Justice League. not to mention the dialogue between characters being hilarious! the new layout with an entire city to explore is great.. especially considering the Lego video game brick smashing plan! there were a few things that became a little frustrating though. when you find a red or gold brick and walk into it, the game auto saves. now normally this wouldn't annoy me, but in this case, the game play environment doesn't stop, but your character is frozen in position... leaving you open to attack and the loss of game life. can be pretty annoying mid play, specially when you save a citizen while in the midst of a whole heap of guys coming for you. the one other thing that was only a little frustrating, was using the map to find gold bricks and then there not being a gold brick or any marker where it was on the map.. its still there but its from an elaborate path that took ages of trial and error to locate the beginning of. but hey, like i said, that's only a minor annoyance. all in all, id give the game a 4.5 outta 5 stars, very fun, hilarious, great game play, sounds and graphics added to each other... just radical!Read full review
Purchased this item for my 8yo son and he loves it. A real test of the mind as he needs to solve a lot of tricky tests to complete each level.
Fun filled game, a bit more difficult then other Lego video games but all good with many hours spent having fun. Recommend to any kids aged 10-whatever age you stop loving lego
I bought this because my 8 year old son was keen on it. He has loved the game and all the levels. He loves his friends to come and play the game with him.
