The LG C1500 has a lot of features that you find on the more expensive ones. It is small in size making it easy to carry in a pocket or purse. The phone has a nice size internal screen making it easy to navigate through the menus. When closed, there is an external screen which displays the time of day and message notices. It also shows the callers name and number making it easy to tell who is calling without opening the phone. The phone can be setup to answer when flipped open making it easy to use with one hand. Most of the features on the phone are easy to use and include most things you would need. Some are IM, Games, Multimedia and Ringtones. There is also MediaNet letting you browse the internet and easy access to downloading ringtones. Over all, this is a great phone and it gets excellent reception no matter where you are. I have been inside building and around powerlines without any loss of signal.Read full review
I purchased this phone as a replacement for a samsung phone previously purchased under the phone companys initial contract. Since I did not want to commit to another two year agreement, I tried to buy a phone thru ebay. This phone is a very simple phone. No bells, whistles, camera etc etc. My theory is that I just wanted a phone, and this is what I got with this product. It has all the basics you need. The phone is small and compact. The reception is pretty good for a tri band phone. The screen is clear and colorful. The outside of the phone is appealing (ya gotta like black and grey combo) and the outside screen tells you the time, date and indicates caller ID. So for the money involved, I rate is a very good phone. I did not have to spend hundreds of dollars on your new craze types of phone. So if you want a good second phone, simple basic operations, I would definitely recommend this type of phone. If you are young and very young at heart and go for the internet, MP3, etc, this is not ur type of phone. It is for the simple at heart type of person as myself.Read full review
I don't have this phone anymore, but I do miss it. The things I liked were the bright screen, ease of picture taking and sharing, bluetooth technology, games, ease of navigating the menu, and the fact that I could have (if I had signed up for that plan) had access to email and internet. My favorite part though is the phones design. It is small and compact but sturdy. It fit into my pocket or purse easily and all with how much it slid around in my purse, it never got any scratches. Even though I really liked it's size, that was also the one thing that I disliked about it: if you ever have to dial a number (which, really, how often to we do that these days?) it was hard to push the buttons since they're so close and I have small hands. But I got over that quickly. I never had a proble with reception or with it's functions. The only reason I gave this phone up was because I needed a blackberry for work purposes. I recommend it for people who don't like flip phones that are looking for a cute phone with lots of features that works well.Read full review
I'e had this type of phone for over 6 years. It is a good basic phone and very reliable. It is easy to use and has the features (very basic) I use. I buy these phones when I can find them, so I don't have to sign a 2year extension on my contract. I probibly will buy again.
I bought my first cell-phone over 6-1/2 years ago when my wife decided it would be a good thing to invest in for travelling and emergencies. I agreed as long as it was a plain, no frills phone. I needed NO camera and had ZERO desire to text anyone. She understood! We went to the Cingular outlet in our town, after pricing services from several wireless networks. I asked to be shown the most basic, simplest phone they had. I was shown the LG C1500. I was impressed! As basic as it gets! Plus the size was a winning factor, too! I have found its reliability and ease of use unsurpassed! I am now on my 6th or 7th C1500! Its great! Just slide in your SIM card and you're ready to go! No upgrading, no contract changes, PLUS you don't have to monkey around getting used to a new phone's user protocols! As simple as plug-and-play! I highly recommend this phone to anyone out there who is like-minded about getting a cell-phone! You will be impressed with this phone's simplicity and ease of use! Satisfaction guaranteed! Oh yeah! I almost forgot... my old phone is now a charging base for the extra battery I now have! Very convenient! The one in use fades out, and all I have to do is pop in the freshly charged one! Talk abou easy!Read full review
