Sometimes the most experienced fishermen want a slow troll but have trouble achieving it due to high wind. When high currents make your boat difficult to control, drift socks come to the rescue. Whether your boat is moving too fast or the wind is blowing you off course, a well-placed drift sock can get you, and keep you, right where you want to be. Drift Control drift socks reduce extreme up-and-down boat bounce and pitching, which makes for a more stable fishing platform. And if your boat loses power, drift socks can keep your boat still until help arrives.

Drift Control presents a line of drift socks that offer pin-point boat control and slow drift for ideal bait presentations even in wind and waves. A Drift Control drift sock enables you to maximize your bait-presentation time. When conditions would otherwise be too windy for a slow drift, you can use lighter or smaller weights to get your bait down to that trophy fish.

Choosing the right Drift Sock:

The chart provides a "rule of thumb" for determining your drift sock size for general fishing use. Remember, heavy material like our Fisherman Series, or Magnum Series provides more drag than the lightweight Original Series allowing you to get by with a smaller sock to do the same job.
