Detailed item info

Description
When she was fifty, gardening writer Mary Moody ran away from home, family and work for six months to live in a remote French village. This experience was to mark a new beginning in her life; on her return she persuaded her husband to take up goose farming and she abandoned her television career to write of her travel experiences.

Celebrated 'Gardening Australia' television presenter, Mary Moody, made the headlines when she published her French travelogues.
Why?  Because she told honestly of her feelings surrounding a relationship she had whilst in France, and its ramifications for her marriage and her family.

This book is a great read - combining the personal with the best kind of travel narrative.

I've got the others somewhere, and will be listing them too when I find them.

Lots of great travel writing to come - add my shop to your favourites and come back soon!

Happy to combine postage - thanks for looking.
