The Art of Pen and Ink Drawing
Originally published in 1920s and ran to seven editions, this classic Pen and Ink Drawing instruction manual is an essential reference book for any architectural students and practitioners.
Historically, pen and ink drawing has been used for illustration for many years. However, since the start of the 2nd half of the 20th century, perhaps due to improvements in a variety of things such as color reproduction techniques, photographic processes, available materials, computer graphics, and changes in fashion, pen and ink drawings are no longer seen very frequently.
Few forms of art are as rewarding as pen and ink drawing: the range of work one can create is remarkable, everything from abstraction to photo realism. While it can be difficult to master, the basics of pen and ink drawing are easy to learn. You do have to have patients when completing a work of art in this medium, but with a little instruction and introduction, pen and ink drawing should easily be a new form of art you can add to your repertoire.
