I bought this book for my young son-in-law who is starting to practice law. However, I started to read it first. It has answered so many of my questions regarding why lawyers (especially defense attorneys) do what they do and yet can be good people. It tells how and why what a defense attorney is allowed to do and not do differs from what the prosecutor does. It is written in an understandable way and has examples from real life of his points. A most excellent read for a person wanting to understand better the ethics of the legal profession.
I started reading this book 2 days ago and am very grateful of my purchase! I admire the fascinating way Mr. Dershowitz writes and highly recommend this to people who seek more.
