Apart from a couple of minor annoyances, this is a very easy to set up and use remote with the Harmony hub. The touch screen is bit sensitive and can register a swipe rather than a tap, and the playback controls above the touch screen would be better below the touch screen with the other buttons. Overall, a very nice and easy to use remote.

I've had other models like the 650 before so I was familiar with a lot of the process required to configure this model (you need to do this from a PC). It isn't all that intuitive if you haven't ever done it before but the guides are pretty helpful. Where it gets complicated is more and more new devices are becoming available that can't be controlled by these remotes. For example in my current configuration I've got a Google Chromecast with Google TV. I can configure this remote to set my tv up to use the Google device but I then need to use the Google remote to do the navigation on it. Overall I'd suggest it is best if you haven't got anything too unusual in your set up. It is a good idea to check compatibility on Logitech's website first. I found it easy to set up, simple to use and simplified what was a frustrating and complicated task. Made it easier for the whole family. Does struggle to maintain settings ie needs to be synced or rebooted occasionally, mainly with Foxtel IQ3. Highly recommended for those wanting to have a simple single remote which is programmable to multiple needs. And then easy to use for the whole family.

IT was hard for me to program it, a person who has knowledge in IT helped me with the programming and now it is working OK. It is a lot easier than having many remote controls to cope with. It operates correctly with all my units except my blue ray unit, which may be the blue rays fault, we are still working it out. I think the Logitech Harmony is a good investment for anybody with mutable units.
