I purchased a vintage yamaha , 3/4 steel string guitar from an opp shop although its was strung with nylon strings at the time .I tried a set of light steel strings and felt there was too much tension on the bridge ect and didn't want to risk wrecking this lovely little instrument .After some intense googling I read about people using these very strings on the very same guitar I had with great results .I am happy to say I agree, thats the reason I am writing this review as if it weren't for someone else who'd taken the time to do so I would not have discovered this perfect product for my needs

Half the strings were already getting rusty, and they don't feel or sound like silk & steel strings. I think they are poor quality. They are also painful for my fingers. I would not buy these again. Better spend a bit extra and get decent quality strings.
