- what is MHL?
The MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) is a new mobile audio/video interface standard for directly connecting mobile phones and other portable consumer electronics (CE) devices to high-definition televisions (HDTVs), displays and projector. The MHL standard features a single cable with a low pin-count interface able to support up to 1080p high-definition (HD) video and digital audio while simultaneously charging the connected device

The Micro USB cable For Samsung Galaxy note hdmi cable gives you access to your favorite HD videos, games, photos and other media from your phone to your HDTV. This state of the art technology utilizes the existing micro USB port to create a HDMI interface from your portable device while simultaneously charging it.

Your mobile device will directly mirror the content to your HDTV via MHL. It also enables operation of your mobile device in MHL mode so you can continue to use it for normal usage such as receiving calls & e-mails while connected.

Simple connect your HDMI cable into the Kanex MHL Adapter and then connect the other end to the HDMI port on your HDTV.

Next, your power source to the MHL Adapter via Micro USB((MHL adapter may not function properly when used with other travel chargers).

Lastly, connect your MHL adapter to your mobile device’s microUSB port that you normally use to connect your travel charger(the MHL Adapter will not work without a power source.)

Select the appropriate HDMI port on your TV(consult your TV owner's manual). The TV screen will display what is on your phone.

Using Tips:
- MHL cable need to be connected to external power(5V,500mA), otherwise cannot output HDMI signal.

- support 1080p out put.
- If phone's ROM flased before, it may not support MHL output.
