The camera and microphone work well and the installation is super easy (just plug it in and it automatically downloads and installs everything). Camera seems to work well in low light and can close-up focus (if rather slowly) and the microphone is clear, but there are two things I would have liked different: 1. The software doesn't allow full screen mode 2. The software will not allow you to use an external microphone such as you would want on a conference table (which is something you would expect on a "business" camera).

A classic example of what was a great product not being acceptably supported by MS! Do not buy this product unless it comes with its installation CD! The MS posted drivers are virtually useless. Possibly, this webcam will work on a Windows 10 system, ONLY. If you are going to use Windows 7, you will need to have a friend download the driver using Win 10 (as backwards compatible for Win 7), then send you that driver for installation. That will work; but, probably with reduced functionality compared to the original driver set (which once made it a great webcam). Beware!

I now have TWO of these webcams and they are excellent. The auto-focus is smooth and subtle and the sound quality seems to be fine too. Better than the "laptop" cams that we see in Zoom meetings in video quality, sharper in side-by-side comparison. That's why they are relatively expensive!
