For a cheap little dongle this works ok. Linux users will require both blueman-applet and ToolsBLEx for it to work. Range indoors is very short and did not work well at all. To rectify this problem, I put the device on a USB extension cord raised and it higher on the wall. I now have an aproximated range of 25 to 30 meters obstructed as I am able to walk outside away from my house with a speaker. a 1.5 to 2 m USB extension should be enough to achieve something similar with performance.

Seller promptly resolved my difficulty with this Bluetooth dongle. Although I believed my drivers in Windows 10 were up to date, this proved to be incorrect. Seller identified the problem and a download driver update instantly fixed the problem .It would be great if every seller responded with customer service like this.
