I most definetely would recommend the above and yes it is good value. When working out our itinery for our travels, I use Maps, Google searches and then books such as the above to fine tune the places where we intend to stay with the information given. The book presents very specific information and well set out. The symbol method was excellent. It saved having to read through all the info to find what you may be looking for. The Pet friendly symbol was of great interest to us. I borrowed a copy from our local Library but chose to purchase one for myself for reference whilst on the road. Compelling would not be the word I would use but specific is.

I purchased this product with a view to visiting Tasmania at the beginning of 2015. The size and format of this publication are just right for its purpose. It is a camping guide (rather than a caravanning guide) with lots of information about campsites including maps and images, so you really know what to expect when planning a trip. The State is divided into different geographical sectors such as the North West, thereby making it easy to plan your route. Sector maps show the locations of the camp grounds across that area. There's also information boxes about fishing, walking and Parks and Wildlife Service contact details. In addition there's a full outline of the facilities at each campsite through the use of symbols for easy reference.
