New Shade sail 280gsm commercial grade fabric
95% UV protection with marine grade stainless steel fittings

 The Outdoor Shop Australia only supplies the absolute best in Shade sail quality. The Shade sail fabric and thread are UV Resistant and have a 5 year warranty against UV Degradation. All our Shade sails in this fabric have a UV rating of 95%

We use commercial grade fabric of 280gsm and is known best for its quality and thickness.

Sewn on German machines designed and manufactured by Karl Meyer are used to produce the best shade sail cloth on the market. This gives the shade sail a tighter and flatter knit diminishing defects that you may get with other shade clothes.

Knitted shade cloth allow air circulation to flow through and heat to escape.



 Your pre-fabricated shade sail comes with marine grade 316 stainless steel buckles at each corner.

Measurements of the shade sails are taken from and to the end of each buckle, so please take into consideration that room is needed for shade fixing accessories and to tension your shade sail. All shade sails are tapered slightly at the sides.

In most cases we suggest using a turnbuckle on each corner of the shade sail.  When using turnbuckles make sure when measuring that you have extended it to its fullest when planning your measurements.

Turnbuckle - Length 210mm - 300mm extended


Eyebolt - Total length 125mm, length of thread 87mm

Used to fix into a wall or posts to secure you Shade sail


D-Shackles - Length 43mm width 30mm

D-shackles are used to attach your shade sail direct to the padeye, eyebolt or extension chain.


Padeye - Length 80mm x 50mm ring protrudes 27mm

Diamond shaped padeye is used on flat surfaces
