Author Biography
Ehud Gat was born in 1981, the Chinese Year of the Rat, and as such tends to grow a thin mustache, has a crave for sweets and the tendency to be the first one to abandon sinking ships (no Women and Children first here). His first foray into creative story-telling was at age 5, when he told his kindergarten nurse a story of how his family had a weekend trip to the snowy Mt. Hermon. The story seemed so realistic and compelling that the nurse made a point of commenting to Ehud's father about how the kid enjoyed the trip... only to discover dear old dad had no idea what she was talking about. Ehud has been creating ever since, compelled to do so by the power of his wild imagination, his insistent muse and the realization that at 5 7 and with no exceptional physical talents, he'd never make it in professional basketball or cricket. He has gone through several phases in evolving his writing talent from one designed to dupe kindergarten nurses to one designed to interest mature readers. Ehud lives in California, a man married to his wife, his writing and a pet chicken called Skimper. He is a gentleman (that is to say: polite, pleasant and grammatically correct in his speech), except on Tuesdays. He does most of the cooking (on account of his wife threatening to cook Skimper if he doesn't behave) and holds a day job as a security officer in a gated community (which requires him to be polite, pleasant and heavily armed).
