Product Highlights:
  • For sale is one front braided brake line to suit the Nissan GU Patrol with a 3-4" lift
  • Why change brake lines?
  • Once you lift your vehicle more than 3"s your brake lines are too short.
  • For a 3" lift you can swap the rear (longer than front) line to the front and install a new longer rear brake line.
  • However, there is a good chance your old brake lines are due to be replaced. Every time you apply pressure to the brake pedal, your brake line rubber expands due to the high hydraulic pressure (volumetric expansion) used during braking.
  • This eventually causes the brake lines to soften, increasing with age, resulting in a soft, spongy feel in the brake pedal.
  • When you have that feeling then it is possible that new brake lines are required.
  • If a lift has been fitted to the vehicle with already softened brake lines this can further increase brake line failure.

  • By putting a stainless steel braid around the rubber brake line the potential for expansion is reduced.
  • This gives the brake lines consistent line pressure resulting in a more efficient braking system and a firmer feeling in the brake pedal.
  • More efficient braking further results in reduced braking distances during a hard stop.

We need clear payment before we can ship. If you have paid via EFT, please email us the remittance so that we can trace the payment.

We will endeavour to have all items shipped within 1-2 days. If there is a delay we will notify you ASAP.

A signature is required on delivery so ensure we have an address that has an authorised person to receipt the item. Business addresses are preferred. If no one is home, a collection card will be left and it will be your responsibility to then collect it from the depot.

Some items may be shipped separately or through differing companies so we can reduce our costs for your benefit. Therefore some items may arrive on different days, do not be concerned.

Once item has been shipped you will be issued with the shipping and tracking details. If you want to follow up on the shipping please follow the links supplied.

All shipping times are estimated times based on normal shipping conditions. Once the item has left our procession the shipping time frame is out of our control however we use reputable companies to minimise delays or damages.

If you are unhappy with the item, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of the item. If we are unable to satisfy your concerns we will issue a Return Authorisation Number (RA#) which should be clearly marked on the return package (not on the item or the items packaging). A full refund including shipping will be issued.

Faulty/Damaged Items

If the item is found to be faulty or damaged within 14 days of receiving the item, please contact us at sales@everything4wd.com.au. We may run through some standard questions and ask you to perform some standard test before returning the item. This is to ensure that the item is indeed faulty. Once we receive the item we will test it ourselves and ensure that it is faulty and if so will offer you a replacement or full refund. We will cover and freight costs.

Wrong Item Received

If the unlikely event that we shipped the incorrect item (less than 1%), we will rectify the problem immediately and all freight costs will be covered.

Cancellations

Cancellations may be requested at any time after order has been placed. However, if your item has already been picked and has been added to our postal processing queue, we will no longer be able to accept the cancellation. You may of course return any unopened item within 14 days for a full credit less and postage expenses we may have incurred.

Unwanted Items

If any item is unwanted, you can return it for a refund of the cost of the item. We cannot refund our postage and handling expenses. Please ensure the unwanted item remains unopened and unused and in original condition.
