Follows an international mapping convention to consistently define and identify areas (blocks and units) – under this system the State is divided into 6 mapping areas the perimeter of each conforming to 6 degrees of latitude by 6 degrees of longitude. Each map is subdivided into blocks each conforming to 5 minutes of latitude by 5 minutes of longitude – each block is further subdivided into 25 units, each conforming to 1 minute of latitude by 1 minute of longitude.
Includes 3 figures to illustrate the NSW mapping area; an example of a block; an example of a unit.
Convention for the systematic numerical identification blocks (and alpha-numeric identification of units) provided – includes diagram on the system for allocating the letter suffix on units
According to notations on the map,
“For more accurate information regarding boundaries see series 2 and 3 maps”
“Series 3 maps are catalogued under numbers along the edges. To find map catalogue number read appropriate number horizontally across the map and then vertically, ...”
Map includes boundary lines (and names) for Mining Divisions and Counties
Note on domestic postage/Australian destinations only
Australia Post introduced changes and new charges for domestic letter services, effective 31 March 2014
For a packaged item less than 2cm in thickness, Australia Post would classify this as a large letter and, provided the total mass is less than 250g, a flat rate of $2.10 should apply – for packaging/ post (allowing for packaging viz Tough Bag Tb1 (A5) envelope plus plastic sleeve/ cardboard support) this would come to $3.45 all up (all destinations within Australia).
Alternatively (ie at buyer's request) it could be sent
by express mail – $7.10 (includes packaging) or
by registered mail – this would cost $6.95 (ie an additional $3.50)
I'm happy to combine items, overall dimensions and mass permitting.
