Cracka Review

This is the artist formerly known as Tokay, which Australia was forced to change in the last few years because of antiquated laws in Europe that declared that we no longer had the naming rights. This resulted in the rather bizarre name of Topaque. Whatever you want to call it, we think it’s just plain delicious with its rich nose of toffee, honey, candied nuts, honey and citrus. The palate is complex and long with rancio and toffee characters combining to create a luscious, warming after dinner style.

Winemakers Note

Deep golden. Rich aromas of cold tealeaf, toffee, honey and citrus. Intense and mouthfilling. Malt and toffee combine with rancio characters providing a wine of power and complexity with a luscious yet clean finish.

Who is Cracka Wines?

Cracka wines is a Sydney based online wine business with a focus on wine auctions. The business itself is run by CEO Dean Taylor, the founder of wine merchant and storage business Wine Ark, backed by staff that include wine writer and judge Angus Hughson and WCA Young Gun Andrew Graham.

How long will my delivery take?

Delivery times will vary, depending on the delivery address. Cracka Wines strives to ensure your deliveries arrive in the quickest possible timeframe. Once posted, your delivery could take up to 10 business days, however, inner-city metropolitan deliveries may arrive within 1 - 3 days.

Please allow up to 10 business days for your delivery to arrive. If after 10 days you still have not received your delivery please contact us and we will do our very best to resolve this for you as quickly as possible.

Do I need to be home when my purchase arrives?

No. If you are not at home the courier will leave a note with a phone number you can call to arrange redelivery. In some cases, where the wine is being sent directly to you by the winery, the wine may be sent via Australia Post and, if you are not home, your order will left at your nearest Australia Post Office for collection (with a card placed in your letter box).

Do you deliver to PO boxes?

Sorry, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.

Can I pickup from you?

Sadly not - all of our wine is stored at a closed, off-site warehouse.

Changes to Items Listed

Wine is an agricultural product and as such does tend to run out/ and or change vintage. If this does happen we will have to remove the item or substitute it with a similar item (not without telling you first!) and if necessary refund you. We also reserve the right to change or remove a listing (and refund you if necessary) if there are errors of any kind.

Breakages

If you receive a case of wine with one or more broken bottles, simply let us know within 2 working days of the date of delivery and Cracka Wines will issue you with an account credit equal to the price paid by you for the broken bottles.
