Navajo artist and silversmith, Germaine Smith, has created a beautiful pair of multistone inlay bear dangle earrings.Â She has inlay jet, mother-of-pearl, turquoise and spiny oyster shell.Â The earrings measure 1-5/8" total dangle including the 7/8" French Ear Wires.Â The bears measure approximately 1-1/8" by 7/8".Â Germaine has stamped her signature "G" and sterling on the backs of these darling earrings.

The Bear is the symbol of power, strength, learned humility, motherhood, teaching, healing and even dreaming in Native Indian Mythology.

The use of turquoise, lapis, jet and coral as personal adornment by Southwestern Indians dates from prehistoric times and the use of Silver by the Navajo is almost 100 years old.

This is a Navajo Indian HANDMADE product and should not be confused with imitation, dyed, and reconstituted products.

All stones are genuine. The Turquoise is the birthstone of December and signifies success.
