extracted from the seeds of the neem tree in a patented Indian traditional
method without heat, chemicals or petrochemicals which assures the highest
quantity of all the liminoids and compounds which give our neem oil its
anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic and antiseptic
properties.
Neem
based remedies have brought relief from the irritating symptoms of many common
ailments such as head lice, athlete’s foot, eczema, psoriasis, acne, rashes,
cold sores, ringworm, dandruff and itchy scalp and skin conditions, scabies and
more.
Neem
oil is rich in fatty acids and glycerides and, together with its healing
properties, provides an excellent natural moisturizing base for skin care
formulations such as soaps, shampoos and skin preparations enabling many people
to enjoy relief with products which avoid the use of prescription medicines and
chemical treatments.
Neem
oil is a natural vegetable oil and is very bitter, dark honey colour and has a
strong garlic/sulphur odour.
The odour can be masked with the addition of
essential oils.
Neem
oil contains Vitamin E and many essential amino acids which help restore
moisture and elasticity to the skin
while it disinfects and heals.
Neem
oil can be added to your shampoo/conditioner, body lotion, shower gel or massage
oil at the rate of 1 to 20ml to 100ml of product.
In
the case of head lice, neem oil can be mixed with 50% conditioner and massaged
into hair and scalp, after 5 minutes,
wash hair with shampoo, apply
conditioner and use a nit comb to remove dead lice and nits. Using shampoo and
conditioner with
added neem oil can be used for after treatment, or use our
head lice spray.
Alternatively, make a spray by mixing 5 to 10 ml of castile soap,
our horticultural liquid soap or detergent with 500ml of warm water.
To this, add
5ml – 50ml of neem oil. Shake vigorously.
Plants; Use no more then 2.5 ml p/l for seedlings and young or sensitive plants or orchids.
Use 5 ml p/l of water for other plants however be careful and test spray one plant before spraying the whole crop..
Neem seed oil can solidify at low temperatures. If this happens,
immerse container in warm to hot water.
Caution; Not to be taken, Keep out of reach of children, Do not
use if pregnant or planning pregnancy.
