My Snore Stopper™ doesn't seem to be function. What could be the problems?

It could be any of the following conditions. Please read through and check yourSnore Stopper™ again.

1. Snore Stopper™'s power HAVE NOT been switched on, and the LED indicator is not flashing. Please turn the power on.
2. The background is very noisy (especially at daytime) when you press the test button.
3. In the testing procedure, you HAVE NOT pressed the test button at least 4~5 times repeatedly.
4. The electrode gel pads HAVE NOT been stuck onto the back of Snore Stopper™.
5. The large, green plastic film HAVE NOT been removed when you put on the device.
6. You have adjusted the intensity to a very low level

Does Snore Stopper™ really reduce my snoring ?

Snoring is caused by a narrow airway. Firstly, when we sleep, our nerves are in a relaxed state. When the air moves into the narrow airway during breathing, it causes the soft tissues of throat (tonsils, soft palate & uvula) to vibrate, snoring is the sound of such vibration. Generally, snoring can be reduced if the snorers change their sleeping positions or are given a mild nerve stimulation.

Snore Stopper™ is developed based on this concept. When the snores are detected, the device will output a 4 seconds' pulse onto the superficial skin, making a snorer do one of the following things to reduce snoring: 
i.) changing the sleeping position due to nerve stimulation.
ii.) Changing the position of lower jaw.
iii.) Increase the muscle tones of the throat muscles.

What is dB ? How do I know whether Snore Stopper™ can be used in my home ?

dB (decibel) is an index of measuring the intensity of sound. If you are in an environment that has a sound intensity that's above 70 dB continuously, the environment is seen as a noisy background. Normally we don't live in a noisy environment. The design of Snore Stopper™ aims on the source of indoor background noise, you may read the following table to see which is the optimal sleeping condition for use.

Remarks : Under normal circumstances, a home's indoor background noise will be 30~45 dB.

Under what circumstances that Snore Stopper™ is not advised to use?

SNORE STOPPER is not advised to use in indoor environment that has a background noise of 55 dB or above. For example, residence locating next to a road with heavy traffic, highway, nighttime factory, machinery, or very closely to an air-conditioner. The logic is that since the background noise is louder than the snores, there's no need to use Snore Stopper™. However, due to the excellent noise-screening feature of Snore Stopper™, its biosensor function will not be affected when used within a reasonable distance from a television, or when there's talking at the regular volume in the background, .
