Already having a Telstra Netgear dual band cable router I wanted a dual band Netgear ... Already having a Telstra Netgear dual band cable router I wanted a dual band Netgear extender to cover the other half of my house. This device has done the job. Unlike my Telstra Router I am able to update the firmware and this EX6150 version 2 is fast in use with no buffering. The WPS connection feature did not work on the Telstra router (thanks Telstra!) so I had to set it up the long way per the supplied instructions. Oh, and no issues with the supplied US to AU adapter - would not have been a deal breaker anyway!

Works exactly as specified. Much easier to set up than I expected - the instruction ... Works exactly as specified. Much easier to set up than I expected - the instruction booklet is clear and easy to follow. Initially I set he unit up as a range extender, I later decided to repurpose it as an access point. Again, this was much easier to do than expected. Either way, the range of the wifi signal easily doubled, and is also secure and stable. An impressive piece of technology. Highly recommended
