Mechanical construction takes advantage of strong, yet lightweight materials that are resilient and good looking.Another key element considered in the design of the AF Zoom-Nikkor 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6G was built-in aperture control, a feature on the newest Nikon SLR cameras, which does not require that the lens have an aperture ring. With this point in mind, Nikkor G lenses omit the aperture ring, resulting in a lens that's more compact and lighter. This approach offers photographers all of the advantages of Nikkor optics without loss of performance for their new Nikon SLR cameras. Picture-taking with the new lens will add excitement to any photographer's repertoire. Capturing beautiful portraits at 80mm and moving through normal to wide for landscapes and other wide view subjects provide dynamic range and enhance picture-taking opportunities. The AF Zoom-Nikkor 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6G features one aspherical lens element with a high-performance Nikon Super Integrated Coating that delivers superior color reproduction, while minimizing ghost and flare. A rounded diaphragm opening with seven blades makes out-of-focus elements appear more natural and the aspherical lens element minimizes distortion, especially at the periphery area, for superior optical performance. General Information:

For sale is 3 Used Nikon 28-80mm f3.3-5.6 G AF Zoom Nikkor Lens, SN 3696159, SN 3340664 - SOLD, SN 2998442 - SOLD priced at $92.11 (for one lens) each Sold separately. Made in Japan, genuine Nikon accessory. I would rate it at 9 on a scale from 1 to 10. 

Lens has AF lens mount (without aperture ring). Click on a link to read more about Nikon lens mounts Nikon mount chart here. Full frame lens, so compatible with many Nikon Digital SLR cameras, such as D50, D70, D80, D90, D7000, D200, D300, D2X, D3X, etc. They will not auto focus on cameras that need internal lens motor, such as D40, D40X, D60, D3000, D3100, D5000, etc.. Please check your camera manual for compatibility issues. Lens will be shipped with both end caps just as pictured for each purchase. No other accessories will be included in this auction, look at the pictures above.

 

Cosmetic condition:

Lens has been used but is in excellent condition, looks good. It shows no wear on the lens barrel from use. Front and rear glass elements are in very good condition. I don't see any scratches or scuffs on the lenses coating. Lens might have couple dust specs inside, that is normal for used lenses. Dust does not affect image quality.  No fungus or hazing inside glass elements.

Performance:

All lens features works good. Aperture blades are free of oil. Filter rim is in good condition. Smooth focus and Zoom all the way. Everything works as it should. Lens has been fully tested by my tech guys. I guaranty that it will arrive as described on your money back.
