This car, affectionately known as the batmobile, has certainly seen better days!!
However it will be great for someone looking for a VH45 engine or for infiniti parts.
The car is a 1989 Japanese Q45A. It originally had the active suspension, however over time it has sagged and it now super LOW!
The car has a VERY rough body, however the engine I believe is in reasonable condition.
It was starting a couple of months ago, however won't quite turn over now. I suspect the fuel pump or something similar.
The body has a fair amount of hail damage, it was after this happened that I sort of lost interest in doing the car up.
The car was never complied and I would imagine no one would be interested in doing this now,
however if you really wanted I'm sure I can dig up the import cert somewhere.
What is included is the engine and pretty much all internal parts in reasonable condition.
What is not included are the wheels (will come with some steel rollers with tyres, but not the mags pictured)
The speedo/tacho cluster
The body kit (as you can see some is already missing)
As mentioned it is currently not running.
The winning bidder has 2 options:
Win it and remove the engine yourself if that is all you want (BYO tools and man power!!) OR
Win it and bring a trailer/truck and tow the whole thing away.
As mentioned it is not running so please don't expect to be able to drive it away
P/U is from Upper Ferntree Gully.
Feel free to ask Qs and I will answer as best I can.
Also, inspections prior to auction end are welcome however I will probably have limited times to do this.
Probably most likely will be after work approx 5:30PM weekdays.
I will endeavour to get more photos up soon also.
Thanks for looking
On 10-Aug-14 at 23:14:48 AEST, seller added the following information:
Have added a couple of more photos, as you can see the interior is grey leather.
Have checked windows and sunroof, windows all work, drivers is a little slippy at first but still working.
Sunroof worked but was very slow, probably jamming a little because of the hail damage on roof but opened with a little help pushing it along.
Unfortunately I broke off the switch as I was doing this but should be easily fixed.
Also, don't think I mentioned this but there is no stereo head unit present.
Pick up won't be able to be organised most likely til Friday arvo or on the weekend at the earliest.
