Don't know what you mean by small form factor. I like the phone 📞a lot. It is fast, easy to maneuver, and has great picture quality. The only problem is that the windows 10 has some glitches to be fixed, and it will be a super phone.

Overall appearance was good my main complaints are with the head phone jack which is totally inoperable, and it wouldn't pair to all Bluetooth devices. I 5ted several of each much to no avail

I thought that I would never own a windows phone, but at the advice of my thirteen year old son, I purchased the Nokia 1520. My eyesight is getting pretty bad and I was having trouble seeing android widgets and the small words on my phone (LG Pro G). After playing with the Nokia 1520 for a week, I couldn't wait to activate it. The window's tiles, color schemes, and options for enhanced viewing made this phone a no-brainer. It is a large phone (6 inches) that has the most amazing vivid and clear display that I have seen yet. The Windows 8.1 operating system is smooth and responsive and although the app store isn't as expansive as google play store, it is more than adequate for users like me who just want good apps without having to search through hundreds of options. The camera is fantastic and simple to use. The volume is very loud which is a great complement for us older crowd who can't see or hear very well. The battery stays charged all day and then some. The Nokia 1520 has been a pleasure to use and is a very well thought-out device that also looks great. The matte yellow finish of my phone is easy to grip and the buttons are easy to find and use. This phone has surprised me and now my android phone collects dust in a drawer.Read full review

So far I love this phablet (yes phablet. As in phone/tablet). The only thing I haven't decided on is if I like the size. I love being able to see lots of information and having a large home screen, but it barely fits in my pocket. I was used to a smaller windows phone. I had debated on getting this one or the Lumia 1020. After reviewing both and seeing some comparisons, I chose this one because the camera's seemed to work close enough the same for my use. I found online that the pics were nearly the same if not the same and only the video was different, but not bad still. I was set on getting the 1020 until I realized that it didn't support an external memory card. So your stuck with the internal 32 GB (or was it 16 gb). The 1520 comes in a 16 GB and 32 GB version (get the 32 GB), but also supports up to 64GB memory card (32 GB max is recommended for best performance according to manual). Since they both have the option to produce 2 files for every pic taken (1 large to save and 1 small to share), I wanted the extra memory card to store my photos and videos on. NOTE: If you have never owned a Windows phone, you can't make the apps install on the external memory. Only things like photos and videos (maybe some extra data from apps) are stored on the external card. Unless someone knows something I don't. When I owned a droid phone, I could install apps on the card. As far as the phablet goes, it works well. This is my second windows phone and they just seem to work with little to no issues. My previous phone was a cheap version from Straighttalk and was fine except for the memory and camera kinda sucked. I upgraded to this one to get a much better camera with a lot more memory (old phone: 4GB, new phone: 32GB; plus memory card for photos on both). I couldn't put anymore apps on my old phone. If you run windows 8, this works well with that too. The live tiles are awesome. Plus Nokia has extras that go with this phone. A few are worth having, some apps I removed. They just didn't seem to have the features. But like I said, some are a great addition. So far (only had it 2 days), people tell me they hear me clearer than my last phone. It's a little awkward to hold sometimes, but I think I'm getting used to that. It's not very heavy by itself, but I bought a rubber case that has another shell with a kick-stand on it. This made it a little on the heavy side, but not bad really. Overall I would buy this phone again and recommend it to anyone that doesn't mind the size. Look online for some size comparisons to the 1020 if that's an issue for you. The few pics and videos I've taken have turned out well and there are Nokia apps that give you ability to adjust and "spoof up" right on the phone. Everything on the phone seems snappy too. Things open up quickly and run smooth. At least no issues so far (fingers crossed). Like I said, my last windows phone had no issues (but space), and I expect no issues from this one. I hope this review helps you decide on one or not.Read full review
The first view of the Nokia 1520 is a little intimidating. It seems big when you hold it in your hands, yet as soon as you begin working with it, it shows you it is more than a phone and a real good kick in the ass to the iPhone and other similar. I downloaded windows 8.1, and Cortana is much more better than the iphone version of the voice activated command Zirry I think it is called... no idea how to spell it! Not to mention all the other features windows now have that make my life real easy no matter where I am. The phone is unlocked so when I travel abroad, all I need is a 10 dollar prepaid ship and I am back in business in no time! It comes with Office and I can open and review all attachments to my emails with no problem. I can also enter may work conference calls any where in the world and look like I am seating at my office in Miami! Of course my company use Lync which is state of the art communications. Last, skype is an easy way to be in touch with my family any where and the big screen sure shows my love one smiles so nicely!!! This is a phone for one that likes to do all his stuff online and anywhere... easy and comprehensive once you get a hold of it... and above all high quality materials. It already felt down twice and I expected to be the end of it... not! real good stuff and highly recommended!Read full review
