Clausewitz is a very heavy writer, very pedantic, and his sentences are sometimes quite long. IMO he writes as he speaks...little pause, but with a whole thought in a sentence or paragraph. And translating from Prussian to English has its own foibles. This is a treatise that is recommended for any real world strategist. Relating the lessons to business strategy is as good as relating Sun Tzu, albeit with differing approaches to the same result. Interesting that they were written almost 1500 years apart.
