Order for Patriotic Achievements , III class


HISTORY

On original pentagonal hanger and ribbon. The Order was instituted on 26 November 1962 in three classes and one medal to be awarded for patriotic support of the Communist regime. In 1992, following the fall of the Communist government, the Order was amended, in that the star on the flag and the rays that protruded beyond the circumference, symbols of the out-going regime, were removed. In about 2002, a new series of Orders were introduced and/or amended and this one was suppressed. A rare Order.

Sometimes it is necessary to offer replacement ribbons when on the earlier items the originals are either too worn or are missing.
