Our Cannula Family is classified as Class IIa device. The Cannula is registered with the Therapeutic Goods Administration in Australia and is listed as ARTG 169060.
The I.V. Cannula Family should comply with essential requirements of Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC and ISO 10555-1 & 5 product Standard.

The Cannula
Melt fluoropolymers (FEP, PFA, ETFE, MFA, THV)
Melt fluoropolymers have excellent heat forming abilities allowing precision tipping for Medical applications.
For vascular access applications, fluoropolymers are more lubricious (slippery & smooth) than polyethylenes, as well as being tough and flexible.
All fluoropolymers can be sterilized by EtO and Autoclave techniques, with FEP and ETFE also having the ability to tolerate Gamma sterilization.

Our Catheters are FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) widely used in Regional anesthesia (epidural catheters), Intravenous catheters,
Vascular access ( dilators and sheaths, intro needle assemblies), Fiber optics, Insulin delivery and Catheter Liners.

Transparent flashback chamber for easy visual confirmation of Venipuncture.
