Place Value I Have-Who Has
Here is another version of this popular linking game, this time dealing with place value! This game pictured helps reinforce the concept that numbers are made up of tens and ones (eg “I have 7. Who has 2 tens and 6 ones?” ).
I also have a more difficult level of this game (similar to that pictured here) - dealing with numbers up to 3 and 4 digits and requiring children to identify a number based on clues given about two of their digits (eg 'I have 498. Who has a number with 6 hundreds and 2 ones?' - the number this then links to might be something like 672 or 1692.)
Please state your preference upon purchase; any questions, please just ask!
Example of How to Play (tens/ones version, as pictured):
Pass out all the cards to the children – some children may have more than one, or the teacher may hold the extras. The player who has the card labelled with a feint grey number one in the top left hand corner “I have 7. Who has 2 tens and 6 ones?” may begin (it doesn't actually matter who starts the game as it all links up together providing all cards are handed out) and the game winds its way across the group until the beginning card is reached again (or you can keep playing if time permits - the kids never seem to mind the repeats!). All children participate in each turn, checking their cards to see if they have the number required and/or checking to see if the next player is correct in their choice of response.
All cards are numbered from 1-32 (light grey numbers in top left hand corner) to enable easy checking that all cards have been returned, and to identify cards easily for replacement if required (I am happy to provide replacement cards upon request for a price agreed upon at time of contact).
This is a great resource to fill in a few spare moments, or to consolidate a lesson on Place Value. Enough cards for the whole class, or play in a small group where each student has more than one card.
The set has 32 cards (not all pictured here!), and comes in a plastic storage bag.
Grab a bargain – this is GREAT VALUE and GOOD FUN TOO!

**All items are printed onto quality card (not paper) and laminated for durability.
Item will be posted in a standard DL envelope, with extra cardboard to provide rigidity; postage and handling to anywhere in Australia will be $2.15 (please see postage policy below for an explanation of what this cost includes; happy to discuss options to keep costs to you down to a minimum). If you would prefer to have the item padded and sent in a postpak I am more than happy to do this, but cost will be increased. Happy to combine postage for multiple items - see below for more information on my postage policy. International buyers please contact me for a postage estimate prior to purchase.
Looking for other teaching resources? Check out my other items! Lots to choose from both at auction and in store, and if you don't see what you are after there - just contact me and I'll see what I can do for you!
Looking for a Bulk Pack Bargain?
I am happy to provide a discount for bulk purchase. Contact me with a list of the items you would like and I will be happy to provide you with a quote – this must be done before buying/bidding. I don't sell a standard 'bulk pack' as I prefer customers to choose their own items - then we both know you are getting the best deal on the items you want!
I am pleased to accept bank deposit, bank deposit express, and money orders/bank cheques as standard payment methods; PayPal is also now available. Payment is appreciated within 5 days of purchase; however if you are waiting for other auctions to finish in order to combine postage just email me - I am happy to wait as long as you have made contact to let me know.
I try to keep postage and packaging costs to a minimum – I don’t believe in using postage costs to prop up my item prices and boost profits! I am always happy to combine postage for multiple items, and will search out the best postage option for you. Most times, postage costs quoted when I combine your invoice are as accurate as I can make them. I generally provide a couple of options when items will weigh over 500g – it is often cheaper to send in 2 separate packets than go for 1 large one that is heavy and I am happy to take the extra time to do this for you. I weigh items at home before posting so that if I have overcharged I can refund the difference when I post your item. Even with this precaution, on occasion the items post more cheaply – by then it is too late for me to provide a cash refund, and if the amount is over $1 I will contact you to provide a ‘credit’ on your next purchase. I charge a small packaging fee (about $0.50) on top of postage, which covers the cost of consumables (envelopes/sticky tape/baggies/etc). Due to recent changes, a small handling charge has also been introduced – please contact me if you would like to discuss ways of minimising these costs. All items are posted promptly, usually by the next business day after your payment clears.
I try very hard to be as accurate as possible in my descriptions – if you are unsure about anything, please contact me! If you believe that an item you have purchased is not as described or if there are any problems, please contact me to discuss so that we can come to a solution.
I love to hear from customers and potential customers! If you need more information before making a purchase, please feel free to contact me through eBay Messages at any time. I always try to respond within 24 hours. I also appreciate hearing about how you are using my resources in your classroom!
