About This Walkman:

This auction is for a Panasonic RQ-SX53 stereo cassette player. It is a very nice looking unit. It is made of metal and it's silver in color. It is very compact and it’s only slightly bigger than the cassette itself. It is one of the last high end models made by Panasonic. It was released in 2003.

It is brand new in a sealed package that’s never been opened. It’s next to impossible to find these Walkmans in brand new condition like this. It has full logic controls and it comes with a remote. There are three transparent buttons on the front for basic controls. Battery check and TPS (Tape Program Sensor) are among other nice features.

It uses a gum-stick battery or AA battery connected through the battery holder. The two batteries combined give a play time of about 75 hours.

The Walkman is in brand new sealed package that’s never been opened. The packaging itself shows some scratches and shelf wear.

Functionality:

I have not tested this Walkman for functionality and I don’t know if it works.
